Gatto Group takes part in a meeting about sustainability

Last week Cristian Paravano, Chief Sustainability Officer of the Group, took part in a virtual meeting with other CEOs of Northern Italy, to discuss the topic of corporate and environmental sustainability.

Sarno Display’s creation for Ital-Lenti

Innovative capability and attention to environmental sustainability: these are the key concepts guiding the Gatto Group team throughout the development of new projects.

One of our last technological solutions is the display for lenses we’ve created for Ital-Lenti, combining a simple and elegant design with digital elements.

Designed to be developed in the future to support omnicanality, this display has been realized entirely in Italy at Sarno Display, a company with a strong commitment to environmental and resource-management sustainability.

Gatto Group on the front lines

In this emergency situation, Gruppo Gatto has made itself available to the community using its internal “Creative” capabilities to start converting part of its production processes. Our Commercials, Creatives, Prototypes, Project Managers and Team Marketing smart working has managed to develop solutions to protect people, just as our eyewear cases protect the creations of our customers. A heartfelt thank you to all the people who have engaged in these activities: ” The Whole is Greater than the Sum of its Parts” (Aristotele).

The development, as always, has been done in accordance with the specific provisions and regulations and trying to interpret our industrial transition in terms of SDGs. We have many projects being launched, the first to which we start is to create an “anti-droplet desk separator” for offices and public places. At the forefront of our commitment to the weakest people and to health, together with this project also the desire to give constant support to these figures with concrete donations.

Gatto Astucci & MIB School of Management Trieste.

Gatto Astucci worked for three days side by side with the master’s students of the MIB School of Management of Trieste. It was part of a lessons dedicated to the development of new products.

The very heterogeneous and multinational group of students, coordinated by a teacher who has provided a working methodology, has ventured into a project intended to provide ideas for innovation (marketing and technology) based on the indications provided directly by Gatto Astucci and explained in classroom by the general manager of the Group, Cristian Paravano.
The course highlighted the most relevant management methods used to identify new product or service ideas, developing new product concepts and placing them on the market. The lesson also emphasized the importance of teamwork and how the various inter-functional competences in the innovation process are used.

Sarno @ Cosmopack 2018

The 51st edition of Cosmoprof Bologna, the international fair dedicated to the world of beauty and cosmetics, which also includes an entire section dedicated to packaging, ended on March 19th with a surprising result of 250,000 registered visitors and 2822 exhibitors from 70 countries.
Sarno Display exhibit at this important event, within the Cosmopack section, and welcomes with enthusiasm more than 300 visitors from 35 countries.
“We are very satisfied of the great success of our first participation”, says Maurizio Rocca, director of SARNO.
Cristian Paravano, general manager of the GATTO group, is also very much satisfied and already confirms the presence at the next edition where “we will certainly bring new ideas and surprises.”
