REACH REGULATION No 1907/2006
It is a regulation of the European Union adopted to improve the protection of human health and the environment from the risks of chemical substances, while at the same time stimulating the competitiveness of the European chemical industry. The regulation also promotes alternative methods for assessing the hazards of substances in order to reduce the number of tests carried out on animals.
In principle, the REACH regulation applies to all chemicals: not only those used in industrial processes, but also those that are used daily, for example in detergents or paints or in articles such as clothes, furniture, and appliances.
CONSUMER PRODUCT SAFETY IMPROVEMENT ACT (CPSIA)

It is applied to all products of clothing, shoewear, personal care products, accessories and jewellery, home furnishings, linens, toys, electronics, video games, books, intended for the American market.
